This week’s post is short. I’m writing it 8 hours before I normally publish on Saturdays - as this week I took a vacation to visit Alaska. There were many moments I called my own attention to “Be where you are” and “Stop-breathe-be”. Links to those prior posts following this photo taken aboard the White Pass Railway outside of Skagway, AK.
These two strategies for awareness and heightened presence allowed me to feel more connected to the nature, the experience, and myself.
Try them on for yourself in everyday life or the next time you are vacationing in an unfamiliar area!
Further disclosure, I have a stable of 80% written posts on some heavy topics that I originally thought I’d work on while away. I didn’t - as I chose to let those wait for my return to ‘everyday life’.
