It’d be an understatement to say “it’s been a great start” to the TowardWellth existence on Substack.
In merely 8 weeks, there have already been 25 posts on digestible topics related to your overall wellth! Readership continues to increase and with this post I am taking time to pause and reflect on this past chapter of the journey.
For the subscribers, words cannot express how much I appreciate your support! It gives me further motivation to keep chugging forward toward the opening of brick-and-mortar. When you share to a friend, it amplifies the appreciation!
My first subscriber during the soft launch was
from Zero Proof Nation. She has been such a kind supporter ever since our paths crossed at the beginning of the year. I would recommend you check out her substack for coverage of all things N/A beverages. Thank you so much Laura! Before the Substack launch, as I was starting my quest to understand Mt. Lebanon’s commercial space options, I need to thank
for her help in navigating a few resources and for generally giving early-phase support - she was my local municipality commissioner who I contacted back in 2023 when I first got the idea for TowardWellth. She also happened to become the first Founding Member subscriber to my substack, which I am so grateful for! There are other folks that I’d like to give shout outs to for their help, although for privacy purposes I’ll limit my thanks to the topics that have been explored/confirmed…hoping you know as a reader which one you fall under… :)
To my family members who have given me continued support both for this endeavor as well as for the support over the last 4 years of my own lifestyle changes. To the therapy partners for your initial confirmation of unmet need in mental health community for more group support spaces and some of you for your business plan input! To several people for local real estate discussions. Several other people for your “casual interviews” for future operational positions as soon as space and funding are secured. To the individuals who have worked on initial discussions for sustainable design. To my coworkers who give positive feedback. To anyone who has commented or liked any of my social media syndication (LinkedIn and Facebook).
The lesson today is to remember to come up for air, to take inventory of any gratitude you may have not given its space to live… and to be thankful for the shared experience we have when we socialize and network.
Awww, Ed! Thank you so much. You've become so consistent and I love reading your posts. I don't know how you manage building a business, this, and your full-time job. I'm stickin' with you, kid!
